World Day of Prayer
Our World Day of Prayer Worship Service was held on Friday, May 1st at Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1902 W. LaSalle Street in Tampa. Twenty-nine women attended and appreciated the work of our welcoming, hosting church.
Friendship Day Celebration
May 3, 2024
Our May Friendship Day Celebration will be held Friday, May 3rd at St. James House of Prayer Episcopal Church, 2708 N. Central Avenue in Tampa. Registration will be at 9:30 AM and the program will commence at 10:00 AM. With the theme of “What Does the Lord Require of CW – You?” The Guest Speaker will be Dawn Shulman of OASIS Opportunities. Come join CWU women from all over the city who will be attending as you learn more about Love and Mercy. The following items have been requested to help OASIS as they support the children of our Hillsborough County School System: boys and girls up to 12th grade: full size deodorant, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap and gallon size zip lock bags.
